ACPGBI and BDRF join forces

This year ACPGBI and BDRF will be joining forces and hosting a stand together in the exhibition hall at the Annual Meeting in Birmingham.

BDRF is the official charity arm of the ACPGBI and was set up by its members in the early 1990’s to help fund research into all types of bowel disease.

BDRF has funded over £2.5million into research projects across 154 different locations.

86 projects have been supported involving over 400 researchers many of which are projects in their early stage of development that have grown into larger scale clinic trials.

The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) is a group of 1000+ surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals who advance the knowledge and treatment of bowel diseases in Britain and Ireland.

Specialisation is demanded by the public and increasingly so by the profession. Being a specialist involves education, training, experience and continuing professional development. Membership of the ACPGBI reflects an interest and knowledge of surgery of diseases of colon and rectum with opportunities for lifelong development.

Both organisations will be on hand throughout the conference to promote their work and be available for any questions you may have.

There will be space available to discuss research projects and we would be delighted to reserve you some space to have an informal meeting.
